The Ask
Design trendy, event-specific merchandise for the Alpha Xi Delta, Theta Nu chapter and its extended community, while maintaining strong chapter branding and increasing engagement.
The Challenge
Create apparel that appeals to a large, diverse group of over 180 members and their families/guests, while standing out among competing campus merchandise and remaining on-trend with current fashion trends.

While serving as Vice President of Communications for Alpha Xi Delta, Theta Nu chapter, I was responsible for designing custom merchandise for our 180-member chapter, and other various stakeholders. During this time, I collaborated with Chapter Life Vice President Ayla Brongo to design trendy apparel drops after important events, such as formal dances, date parties, and organized parent weekends. Each semester also included a signature PR design, launched once a semester to boost chapter visibility.
By researching fashion trends and actively incorporating feedback from my chapter, I developed merchandise that truly resonated with our community. My designs consistently sold well throughout the year, resulting in a 20% increase in sales compared to the previous term. This growth reflects my ability to create engaging, on-trend apparel that excited not only my sorority sisters, but also their parents and guests at our events.
