The Ask
Design a social media campaign for the climate advocacy organization ACE SPACE.
The Challenge
Campaign must be engaging, align with brand mission, current messaging, and established brand identity (logos, colors, slogan). The campaign must encourage its target audience to feel empowered to join the organization’s mission.
The Solution
Leverage current brand messaging that already exists on social media accounts by consolidating messages of youth ambassadors into one cohesive campaign. Strategically utilize encouraging and powerful messaging to incentivize passionate members of Generation Z to join the cause.
ACE SPACE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to climate change education and youth empowerment, with a mission to engage Generation Z in meaningful political action.
During my research of the company, I noticed that ACE SPACE has various youth ambassadors posted sporadically on its social media platforms (particularly Instagram and youtube), each sharing personal stories about their experiences with climate change and their commitment to environmental advocacy. These ambassadors sparked my desire to consolidate the messaging of the ACE SPACE brand, while actively engaging their core audience, Generation Z. This inspired my creation of #ACEAMBASSADOR, an advocacy campaign highlighting existing youth climate advocates and encourages new ambassador involvement, helping to expand ACE SPACE’s reach and amplify its impact through cohesive, engaging visual storytelling.
